A canal cruise is the ideal way to get to know Amsterdam at your leisure. You will see the busy shipping traffic on Het Ij, the magnificent old sailing ships at the Maritime Museum and the quaint houseboats on the canals in the city center.
The Hague is one of the most beautiful cities in the Netherlands. The city is the seat of the Dutch government and the International Court of Justice. Magnificent historic buildings, spacious squares, elegant stores and a very sophisticated cultural scene characterize the image of the city. You will see the most important sights of The Hague during a city tour. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to stroll along the beach at the seaside resort of Scheveningen.
For today, we recommend a trip to Alkmaar, where the cheese market takes place on the picturesque Waagplein every Friday morning and on Tuesday evenings in July and August. A stroll along the picturesque canals and through the small streets of the old town with its cozy stores and stores is simply wonderful. In the afternoon, you should definitely enjoy the sea air on the beach in neighboring Egmond aan Zee.
During a city walk in Delft, you will learn a lot about the history of its famous representatives, such as William of Orange and Johannes Vermeer. In the afternoon, you will set off from Leiden on a boat trip on the Kaagerplassen, a huge water area in the Green Heart of the Netherlands, characterized by shallow lakes, polder islands and 18 restored polder mills. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to take an extensive stroll through Leiden, where the triumphal march of the tulip began in 1594.
