Today, discover Alkmaar, where the cheese market takes place on the picturesque Waagplein every Friday morning from the end of March till the end of September, and also on Tuesday evenings in July and August. A stroll along the picturesque canals and through the small streets of the old town with its charming shops is simply wonderful. In the afternoon, enjoy the sea air on a wander around neighbouring Egmond aan Zee.
Today, visit the A’DAM LOOKOUT viewing platform. After ascending via the super-fast elevator, enjoy a magnificent view over the entire city. Brave visitors can also book a ticket for the swing on the roof terrace (not included in price of tour). Afterwards, see Amsterdam from the water on a canal tour with a complementary drink and typical Dutch delicacies.
Visit a cheese dairy near Amsterdam where you can watch a clog maker at work and learn about the production of different types of cheese. A tasting is, of course, included. This is followed by the return journey.
