For today, we recommend a trip to Alkmaar, where the cheese market takes place on the picturesque Waagplein every Friday morning and on Tuesday evenings in July and August. A stroll along the picturesque canals and through the narrow streets of the old town is simply delightful. You shouldn’t miss out on a trip to the beautiful beach of Egmond aan Zee either.
Today you will visit the A’DAM Lookout Tower. After the ascent in the super-fast elevator, you have a magnificent view over the entire city. Brave visitors can book a ticket for the swing on the roof terrace (excl.). Afterwards, set off on a canal cruise, including typical Dutch delicacies and a drink.
At a cheese farm near Amsterdam, you can watch a clog maker at work and learn about the production of different types of cheese. A tasting is of course included. This is followed by the return journey.
