YOUR HOTEL
Intercity Hotel Leiden is strategically located in the center of this charming city.
A visit to the Keukenhof in spring, a trip to The Hague or Delft, a walk along the beach and perhaps a flying visit to Amsterdam? No problem with this short trip. From Leiden, you can reach all the well-known and popular sights within a very short distance.
Travel to Leiden in the Dutch province of South Holland. This charming city is known for its centuries-old architecture and Leiden University, which was founded in 1575, making it the oldest university in the country. The university grounds also include the Hortus Botanicus, Leiden’s botanical garden dating back to 1590, where the tulip was introduced to Western Europe. The day ends comfortably in the central hotel.
In the morning, you will explore the world-famous Keukenhof with its huge flower fields. The afternoon is dedicated to The Hague, the Dutch seat of government. You will get to know the picturesque city on a city tour. If there is still time, we recommend a detour to Scheveningen, the seaside resort on the outskirts of The Hague. Here you can stroll along the beautiful promenade and get a taste of the sea air.
Return journey after breakfast. We will be happy to help you plan a program point on the route.
