YOUR HOTEL – Top location!
The 4* Postillion Hotel Veluwemeer is located directly on the shores of Lake Nuldernauw/Veluwemeer. The stylish rooms offer a view of the lake and the harbour and have a telephone, TV and bathroom with shower/WC. The restaurant has views over the water and serves international dishes. On sunny days linger on the terrace, otherwise relax in the stylish bar.

Experience the beauty of the Netherlands, even without its vibrant capital. Nulde-Putten near Amersfoort offers a wonderful panoramic location directly on Lake Nuldernauw, an offshoot of Lake Veluwe, and a destination that perfectly connects the regions of Utrecht, Gelderland, Flevoland and Overijssel. The Postillion Hotel Amersfoort Veluwemeer is the ideal starting point. The old Hanseatic towns along the IJssel are within easy reach, as are the Paleis Het Loo, the Netherlands Open Air Museum in Arnhem and the Kröller-Müller Museum.

Before checking into the hotel on Lake Veluwe, visit to nearby Amersfoort. The imposing Onze Lieve Vrouwetoren (›Long Jan‹) rises up over the heart of the old town – at 98 metres, it is one of the highest church towers in the country. Around the courtyard of the lively market square with its historic façades are a number of intimate pubs and cafés – a charming start to the trip. Afterwards, it is a short drive to the hotel in Amersfoort-Putten, directly on the shores of Lake Nulderauw, part of Lake Veluwe.

From the hotel, there are great possibilities for different excursions. Depending on your interests, visit the Paleis Het Loo, the Kröller-Müller Museum in De Hoge Veluwe National Park or the old Hanseatic towns along the IJssel. From mid-March to the beginning of May – tulip bloom season – a trip to the famous Keukenhof in Lisse is also possible.

In addition to its beautiful nature and the romantic towns along the IJssel, well-known cities such as Utrecht and Amsterdam are also within easy reach on a day trip. In the summer months, the round trip ›By boat and steam train through North Holland‹ is a definite highlight for visitors.

After an eventful day, begin on your independent return journey.
