On your day of arrival, you will visit the impressive Abbey of Stavelot, one of the highlights of the region. The abbey now houses various museums, including the historical museum of the Principality of Stavelot-Malmedy and the museum of the legendary Spa-Francorchamps racetrack, which you will visit. The tour then continues to the city of Liège. You will get to know the highlights of the city on a city tour. In the evening, you are free to get to know the pubs and restaurants of Liège.
In the morning, you set off for Modave Castle, majestically situated on a hill surrounded by a 450-hectare nature reserve. After the visit, you continue on to Dinant. Even Victor Hugo raved about the postcard panorama of the town! In a picturesque location, the town's citadel towers 120 m above the Meuse on monumental stone cliffs. In front of it, the collegiate church of Notre-Dame, reconstructed in the Gothic style, nestles against the stone cliffs. Finally, the route continues to the small village of Han-sur-Lesse in the Ardennes. Here you will find the stalactite caves of Han-Sur-Lesse, which are among the most beautiful in Europe!
On the way home, visit Val-Dieu Abbey. Taste the unique abbey beer and pick up a few regional specialties as souvenirs in the abbey store before heading home at midday.
