Begin the trip at the impressive Abbey of Stavelot, home to several exciting museums – from the historical museum of the Principality of Stavelot-Malmedy to the legendary Spa-Francorchamps Circuit. Afterwards, the lively art city of Liège awaits – take a guided tour of the city and explore the highlights before ending the evening in one of the intimate and atmospheric pubs or restaurants.
The day begins with a visit to the imposing Modave Castle, nestled in a 450-hectare nature reserve. Afterwards, the beautiful town of Dinant awaits with its impressive citadel and the Gothic collegiate church of Notre-Dame rising high above the Meuse – a picture-perfect postcard image that also inspired Victor Hugo! The highlight of the trip is an excursion to the magical stalactite Caves of Han-sur-Lesse, one of the most beautiful cave systems in Europe – right in the heart of the Ardennes.
A special stop is planned before the return journey – the historic Val-Dieu Abbey. Taste the famous abbey beer and browse the store for regional specialties – perfect souvenirs of the trip. Afterwards, enjoy a relaxing journey home.
