Arrival via Ingolstadt, the second largest city in Upper Bavaria after Munich. On a guided tour, discover the ›green pearl on the Danube‹. Afterwards, check into the hotel in Bad Gögging and end the day at leisure.
A magnificent panoramic drive through the Altmühltal valley takes you past quaint Bavarian towns, including Beilngrieß, Riedenburg and Kelheim, amongst others. The impressive Danube breakthrough and a visit to Weltenburg Abbey are, of course, not to be missed.
Today takes us to the Bavarian capital of Munich. In addition to the world-famous New Town Hall and the Frauenkirche, particularly popular places to visit include the Nymphenburg Palace, the Alte and Neue Pinakothek, the Olympic Park, the Museum Island, the Viktualienmarkt and of course the Hofbräuhaus.
The return journey takes place after breakfast.
