Berlin compact – with currywurst and sparkling wine
Berlin intensive, not much more is possible!
- 2 nights with breakfast in a 4* hotel in a central location in Berlin, e.g. Park Inn by Radisson Berlin Alexanderplatz
- City tour in Berlin
- City center boat trip on the Spree
- Currywurst with piccolo at the Brandenburg Gate
Berlin is still Germany’s number one metropolis and is one of the most important and popular city break destinations in Europe. In addition to world history, museums and nightlife, the city offers something for every taste. ›Who needs a new airport if it’s not rich but sexy‹, Merian once wrote. Nothing has changed to this day. Berlin can be cheap or expensively stylish; you can explore it extensively or just dip into it briefly – either way, it’s an experience.
Worth seeing
Reichstag – Brandenburg Gate – Government Quarter – Museum Island – Berlin Wall Memorial – Checkpoint Charlie – Alexanderplatz – Potsdamer Platz – Gendarmenmarkt – Holocaust Memorial – Nikolai Quarter – Hackesche Höfe
After you have checked into your hotel room in Berlin, we recommend you take a stroll around Alexanderplatz. The square, affectionately known as ›Alex‹ by Berliners, is the center of the eastern part of the city and attracts many tourists with its attractions such as the television tower, the world clock and the numerous shopping opportunities.
Off you go on a great city tour with an expert guide. Whether Ku’damm, Radio Tower, Memorial Church or the Brandenburg Gate, experience the fascinating and lively diversity that makes Berlin so unique. In the afternoon, take a cruise on the Spree past sights such as the Nikolai Quarter, TV Tower, Mühlendammschleuse, Schlossplatz, Berlin Cathedral, Old National Gallery, New and Old Museum, Pergamon Museum, Bodemuseum, Tränenpalast, Friedrichstrasse station, Federal Press Office, ARD Capital City Studio, Jakob Kaiser House, Reichstag building, Paul Löbe House, Marie Elisabeth Lüders House, Berlin Central Station, Moltke Bridge, Swiss Embassy, Federal Chancellery, House of World Cultures and Moabiter Werder. Afterwards, you will be treated to a traditional currywurst with a piccolo of white wine at the Brandenburg Gate. In the evening, you will be spoiled for choice: Berlin offers countless pubs and restaurants, and a visit to a musical would also be a good idea.
On the way home, we recommend a stop in Potsdam. We would also be happy to organize a guided tour of the city for you.
