In Mechelen, a tour guide welcomes you to a city tour. You will see the most beautiful places in the city, such as the fish market, the Grote Markt and the Beguinage. Afterwards, you will be welcomed at the local brewery for a tour and small Borrelhapjes (snacks).
Ghent offers an incredibly beautiful mix of past and present. In the city center you will find the fully preserved Gravensteen Castle, once the seat of the Counts of Flanders, the wonderful atmosphere of the Graslei and cozy and lively squares such as the Vrijdagmarkt. During a city walk you will see the Sint-Baafskathedrale and Gravensteen Castle. Afterwards, take a boat trip on the Leie with a glass of sparkling wine and admire the magnificent panorama of the guild houses on the Graslei.
Today you will visit Antwerp. A tour guide will show you the historic city center. You will see the Scheldt, the cathedral, the guild houses on the Grote Markt, the Groenplaats and the picturesque Vlaeykensgang. Afterwards, you are invited to taste the delicious Belgian fries at the best frituur in Antwerp. In the evening, you can enjoy the relaxed Flemish way of life in one of Mechelen’s many cozy pubs.
On the way home, the flea market in Tongeren invites you to make a short stop. Tongeren is the oldest town in Belgium and lies on the former Roman road from Cologne to Bavay.
